Join a team!  Make a difference. There is much to be done.

This course contains chapter 1 of the textbook "Performance Driven Quality Control" by Zoe Brooks, published by AACC press in 2001.  This team will review the  concepts here to current and proposed practice. Objective:  Update and simplify basic concepts to develop a firm foundation of understanding.

This course starts with a survey of 4 QC charts. More people got the wrong answer than the right answer!

This team will evaluate real time QC and patient data.

- Evaluate past QC and patient data June, July, Aug 2018
- Evaluate real time data & patients in September
- This team will work behind closed doors – until the September data are evaluated by team leaders

This team will create a checklist and procedure manual to assist medical directors fulfill requirements of ISO 15189.

Different authors and companies recommend differing ways to mange risk. This team will scour the references to condense them to a clear table which will be used to compare and quantify the number and cost of failure of acceptable risk criteria.

M.O.R.E. Quality™ cannot tell you in advance what rules & frequency to use because Margin for Error (unlike sigma) varies with patient population tested and acceptable predefined MEDICAL risk criteria.
M.O.R.E. Quality™ is a process that can be used to compare all other SQC processes and quantify costs and savings.
